Day 2: Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

- Arrive at Kibale in the late afternoon
- Evening relaxation at your forest lodge

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking - Kibale Forest

- Morning briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Center (7:30 AM)
- Begin chimpanzee tracking through the forest (2-4 hours)
- Observe chimps feeding, playing, and socializing
- Return to lodge for lunch and relaxation
- Afternoon Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary walk
- Spot birds, primates, and other wildlife
- Visit local community projects and learn about conservation

Day 4: Kibale to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

- Lunch en route with panoramic views
- Arrive at Bwindi in the late afternoon

- Gorilla trekking briefing and preparation

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi
β οΈ Trekking can take 2-8 hours depending on gorilla location. Moderate to challenging fitness required.

- Very early breakfast (5:30 AM)
- Transfer to park headquarters for gorilla briefing (7:00 AM)
- Assignment to gorilla family groups
- Begin trekking through the impenetrable forest
- Spend one magical hour with mountain gorilla family
- Trek back to the starting point
- Receive your gorilla trekking certificate
- Return to lodge for well-deserved rest
- Optional: Visit Batwa pygmy community ($30 per person)
