- Gorilla permits must be booked 3-6 months in advance
- Minimum age for gorilla and chimp tracking is 15 years
- Good fitness level required for trekking activities
- You must be in good health - no illness allowed during primate viewing
- Maintain 7-10 meters distance from all primates
- Flash photography strictly prohibited with primates
- Pack layers - temperatures vary from cool mountains to warm savanna
